Posting Rules
We are transparent about the rules of posting on this Site. Generally speaking, when posting, please use common sense and good judgement.
Don’t be obscene.
No obscene racist or sexually explicit language is allowed. We reserve the right to remove any posting we feel violates this rule or that we consider defames, insults or otherwise harms anyone. Any harassing notes or postings that might be construed as stalking will be deleted and made available to the proper law enforcement officials. We also reserve the right to remove notes that are off the subject.
No solicitations or advertisements are allowed.
This includes advertisements for your business.
You may not suggest or encourage illegal activity.
We will assist law enforcement officials.
Do not post what you do not have a right to post.
No articles, recipes, song lyrics, art or graphics may be posted without the express written consent of the copyright holder.
Please respect the privacy of individuals.
Don’t post phone numbers, addresses or any other private information.
Please don’t re-post the same note over again.

WITHOUT LIMITING AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING PARAGRAPH, IF FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER THE FOREGOING EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY ARE HELD UNENFORCEABLE OR INAPPLICABLE, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF NPLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, INFORMATION PROVIDERS AND SUPPLIERS, IF ANY, FOR DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold NPLC (including each of their respective licensors, suppliers, sponsors, assignees, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, agents and representatives of each) free and harmless from any liability, loss, injury (including injuries resulting in death), demand, action, cost, expense, or claim of any kind, including but not limited to legal fees, arising out of or in connection with any use or possession by you of the information. You are responsible for any tax arising from your use of or access to the information.
Choice of Law
The laws applicable in the Province of Ontario shall govern as to the interpretation, validity and effect of this Agreement notwithstanding and without giving effect to any conflict of laws provisions of your domicile, residence or physical location. Your use of the Site, or use of any Information provided to you, shall constitute submission to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario in any action or proceeding instituted under or related to this Agreement or the Site. Any action or claim brought against NBPLC shall be initiated exclusively in Toronto, Ontario. The parties expressly disclaim the application of the United Nations Convention for Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the application of any law which seeks to implement UCITA.
Privacy
Use of the Site may require users to identify themselves or reveal personal information. Certain usage information which may include a user's IP address the time and length of access, the pages viewed and the name of any site visited immediately prior to coming to the Site may be collected and stored on an anonymous, aggregate basis. NPLC does not consider I.P. addresses to constitute personally identifiable information since they are commonly utilized by proxy servers and thereby shared among multiple users, or are dynamically assigned to machines, and are not easily associated with a particular user. Any e-mail address configured in a user's Web browser may also be logged as part of the web server's automatic logging process. This information is primarily used to assess usage of, and develop ideas for improving, the Site. NPLC does not currently request or obtain personally identifiable information from its business partners.
The Site may make use of "cookie" technology (which uses an identifier that is stored by web browsers) to manage security on the Site and to customize the presentation of information to you.
NPLC may use any personally identifiable information submitted by users or collected from use of the Site, if any, to notify users of additional products and services about which they might be interested. NPLC will not, however, provide such information to other companies for their independent use. NPLC reserves the right to provide information collected from the Site to third parties, provided such information does not contain information sufficient to identify a particular user by name, address or other personally identifiable information.
Notwithstanding anything else contained in these provisions, NPLC reserves the right to disclose information collected if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is required by law, to comply with judicial process or to protect NPLC's property or other interests.
You may contact NPLC at any time to review or correct any personally identifiable information which may have been collected by NPLC.
User Information
To the extent that any area of the Site requires users to register, any information provided in the course of such registrations shall be true and accurate. No attempt may be made to impersonate another person or to gain access to any Site facility by unauthorized or improper means.
Forums and Public Communication
"Forum" means a chat area, message board, instant messaging, mobile messaging or e-mail function offered as part of the Site. If you participate in any Forum, you agree to follow our terms set forth below.
You acknowledge that anything you submit by way of any Forum is routed through NPLC’s servers and the Internet and that, therefore, you have no expectation of privacy with regard to any such submission. You acknowledge that the Forums and features on the Site are forums for public and not private communications. Please keep in mind that whenever you give out personal information online, for example, via message boards or chat, that information can be collected and used by people you don't know. We cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online; you make such disclosures at your own risk.
Users or visitors shall remain solely responsible for the content of their messages in the Forums. We are not responsible for the content or opinions posted or sent by users in any Forum. You take responsibility for postings under your username and use the information provided in the Forums at your own risk. We reserve the right to remove or edit content from any Forum at any time and for any reason although we have no duty to do so. By posting to the Site you agree to the Posting Policy found at www.ageoftransparency.com/privacy.asp#posting.
When participating in a Forum, never assume that people are who they say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are affiliated with in any chat room, message board, or other user-generated content area. Information obtained in a Forum may not be reliable, and it is not a good idea to take any action, including to trade or make any investment decisions, based solely or largely on information you cannot confirm. We cannot be responsible for the content or accuracy of any information, and shall not be responsible for any trading, investment, or any other decisions made based on such information.
Other Terms
Users represent and warrant that they are old enough and possess the legal right and ability to enter into this Agreement.
NPLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site to any user or group of users for any reason at NPLC's sole and absolute discretion.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between NPLC (and its licensors, including their respective licensors and suppliers) and you in respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes in their entirety any and all previous written or oral agreements between the parties. If any provision contained herein is declared invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
Notice
NPLC may deliver notice to you under this Agreement by means of electronic mail, a general notice on the Site or by written communication delivered by regular mail to your address on record with the Site. You may give notice to NPLC at any time via electronic mail to us or by letter delivered by first class postage prepaid regular mail or overnight courier to the address listed for NPLC at www.nplc.com
Third Party Ad Services
NPLC may utilize third-party advertising services to display advertising on the Site for others. These third-party services may upload a cookie for the purposes of ad tracking, presentation and to measure ad effectiveness. NPLC does not share personally identifiable visitor information with its third party providers of advertising services.
