Microsoft is a charter member of the Enhanced Business Reporting Consortium, www.ebrconsortium.org. The organization's goal is to establish a consortium of investors, creditors, regulators, management and other stakeholders to improve the quality and transparency of information used for decision-making.

The consortium believes that greater transparency in business reporting will help strengthen the economy and protect investors. All stakeholders could benefit from better information.
